Now that Amazon has taken over the James Bond franchise, Christopher Nolan's directing chances have increased. Until a recent announcement, the Broccoli family, now Barbara Broccoli, had creative control over the Bond franchise.
Now, a report from Puck says that legendary director Nolan is a higher possibility after the Amazon switch. Puck's Matt Belloni mentioned that the main barrier to Nolan directing in the past was the Broccolis and their desire for control. With them out of the picture, he speculated that Nolan would be the frontrunner for the directing gig.
