Two South American nationals were charged Tuesday with stealing a $1 million watch at gunpoint.
Two South American nationals charged with stealing a $1 million watch last week were found in possession of a gunJamer Mauricio Sepulveda Salazar and Jesus Eduardo Padron Rojas were charged Tuesday in connection with the robbery. The two helped rob a man sitting at the Beverly Wilshire hotel restaurant last week, when suspects took the customer’s Patek Philippe watch at gunpoint, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California.
Police later found security footage of all the suspects outside of an Airbnb they were staying at and searched the home on Saturday, according to the prosecutors. After the search, police allegedly found Sepulveda and Rojas, who is from Venezuela, in a car linked to another armed robbery for a $30,000 Rolex in Beverly Hills.

We should all be grateful for the swift actions of law enforcement in apprehending these suspects before they could cause more harm,” he added.
