Snow, rain and wind may lead to some travel delays through this weekend:
Much of the central and eastern U.S. is forecast to have minimal travel impacts on Thursday, with dry conditions dominating these areas.
Rain could be locally heavy in parts of California and heavy snow is likely to impact travel in the Sierra. Airport delays are likely in Los Angeles and San Francisco.Light snow may linger in parts of southern New England on Friday from the disturbance that moves through Thursday night. The West Coast will remain unsettled with rain and snow impacting travel in the Pacific Northwest, Rockies, California and the Desert Southwest.By Friday night, snow may begin to fall at lower elevations in western Washington, including at least parts of the Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia metro areas, which could lead to slippery roads, particularly in the hills, bridges and overpasses.
