A tractor-led convoy featuring dozens of lorries, vans and diggers has raised over £2,000 for end of life charity Marie Curie.Organised by Bryan Eccleston and now in its second year, the convoy lit up the roads around Preston in the build-up to Christmas.
All the money raised will go towards helping fund more palliative care nurses and assistants to care for other people in Lancashire.Organiser Bryan – who has so far raised over £2,300 – is now looking to reach a target of £3,000 by the new year. “The event was a big Christmas celebration and a lot of fun to cheer people up with everything that is going on with the cost of living, and it also raised vital money to help care for the terminally ill.
