What the forecasters say for the weather on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day
It’s not long now until Christmas Day and while it’s not looking like snow is likely, meaning a White Christmas is probably off the cards, many of us will be hoping for an improvement in the current weather conditions.
Fortunately the weather is expected to settle down from Monday and conditions are set to be stable over the festive period. In Greater Manchester, forecasters predict mild temperatures for this time of year, although it’s likely to be overcast with some drizzle. The Met Office Forecasting for the North West from Tuesday to Thursday, the Met Office says: “Turning very mild by Christmas Eve and staying mild over the festive period. Generally dull at first with some drizzle in places but otherwise mainly dry with brighter breaks possible.”
BBC Weather In the outlook for Manchester for Tuesday to Thursday, BBC Weather says: “Christmas Eve will be largely cloudy with a chance of the odd shower in places, particularly in the morning. Some bright spells throughout the day. Christmas Day will see settled conditions and cloudy skies, with the occasional bright spell. Remaining settled on Boxing Day, with variable clouds and bright spells throughout the day.
