In a new interview with 'Glamour,' Christina Aguilera opened up about being body-shamed in the early 2000s.

"When I was performing ‘Genie’ and ‘What a Girl Wants’ and ‘Come on Over,’ I got bored easily. Creatively, it was one-dimensional," she explained. "Literally every second was accounted for in a schedule. You can’t just live your life for work where it’s unenjoyable. You get burnt out.”Twenty-five years after the release of "Genie," Aguilera has learned how to tune out the haters and ignore the judgement.
“I have a maturity now where I just don’t give a fuck about your opinion. I’m not going to take it on,” she said. “It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people’s opinions of me are not my business.”-winning artist has a son, Max, from her marriage to Jordan Bratman and a daughter, Summer Rain, whom she shares with fiancé Matthew Rutler.
