Former PE teacher Steven Mellody has been sentenced to prison over the sexual abuse of two students at a Christian college in Melbourne’s east.
A former teacher at a Christian college in Melbourne’s east has been sentenced to less than 10 years in prison over the repeated sexual abuse of two students.
He also took the students to the North Ringwood home he shared with his former wife and baby, and a holiday home owned by a relative on the Mornington Peninsula. One of the girls has developed an eating disorder and engaged in other forms of self-harm since the abuse by her disgraced teacher. The other victim spoke of a “deep scar” left by the trauma.
