You have to admit that 'Judge Chrissy' has a nice ring to it.

The case in the first episode features plaintiff Joey Valenza asking that defendant David Oganesyan pay him $999, the cost of a speaker that Joey knocked over when David startled him. Here's the full story: Joey is a lounge singer at a restaurant, and was finishing a Frank Sinatra song when David, a patron at the restaurant, came up to him and asked him if he could perform a rap song. The request flummoxed Joey so much that he knocked over his speaker system and broke it.

It was especially exciting when Chrissy's husband, EGOT winner John Legend, showed up as an expert music witness.Quibi doesn't let you screenshot any of their shows, so here's a picture of Chrissy and John on the night he won his Oscar. In the end, Chrissy ruled in favor of David because he knocked over his own speaker, but she agreed to cover the damages herself. A generous judge!Other cases include a couple fighting over a sweater they gave their cousin, and two people in a situation-ship who can't agree on what they are to each other. The litigants all call Chrissy"Judge" when addressing her, and it's pretty funny.

TBH, I'm still a little confused. How did Joey and David agree to go on Chrissy's show to begin with? They didn't seem like mortal enemies or anything, but Joey was trying to get David to pay him $1,000! A thousand dollars! They are hardly friends. This is a plaintiff from a later episode and she does not look happy with whoever she's looking at.

By far the highlight of the show is Chrissy's mom, Pepper Thai, who serves as the courtroom bailiff and struggles to deliver her one line,"All rise for the honorable Judge Chrissy Teigen."And I have to say that Chrissy really knows how to rock a judge robe.Chrissy's show basically combines sketch comedy and reality TV, and if you're a messy bitch who loves drama then it'll be right up your alley.
