Latest Nottingham Forest news as Chris Wood assesses Reds' relegation battle ahead of Premier League run-in
Nottingham Forest are well aware the relegation battle could go right to the wire, but striker Chris Wood is confident the Reds have the character for the fight.
“Sometimes we don't see it through as there's some stuff we've got to learn. But we're just going to keep building. The club have launched an appeal against the deduction for breaking Profitability and Sustainability Rules, with a hearing expected to take place this month. However, there is a possibility the relegation situation may still be up in the air after the final round of fixtures.
“It's what I've been a part of throughout my career,” he said. “And when I was younger, other players passed on their experience to me. “It's about having longevity, sticking with each other and sticking with the team, having the fans and the whole club pulling in the same direction. You are going to have good days and bad days, good performances and bad performances and it's about staying level.
