Chris Rock 'teary' as he breaks silence on Will Smith Oscars slap – read it in full
Chris Rock has spoken out for the first time since Will Smith slapped him across the face at the 2022 Oscars.
He reacted by walking on stage and slapping Chris before returning to his seat to warn the 57 year old: "Keep my wife's name out of your f****** mouth." "How was your weekend?" he then quipped as the crowd erupted in a sea of laughter. Chris then explained that he didn't write any material around the slap he suffered on the stage at the Oscars.
