Victoria also used the decision to cheekily encourage NSW public servants to move south so they could still benefit from working from home days. "We know that flexibility in the workplace helps more women stay in work and more women in the workforce is better for everyone. "I've seen the Victorian government knock NSW for this change. We're not for changing. We think it's important for the public service in NSW," he said.
Those wanting to work from home would have to seek formal approval and provide reasons for why a hybrid model is required, with this being reviewed regularly.
