New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has stood firm on his refusal to implement a rent freeze, stating concerns the measure would lead to higher rents and be detrimental to housing prices across the state.

Mr Minns was interviewed on ABC’s RN Breakfast on Wednesday morning, where he was grilled about his position on the controversial policy.
