Chris Evans' 23% Rotten Tomatoes superhero bomb, which isn't Fantastic Four, is a surprise streaming hit.
This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available. Chris Evans will always be known for his role as Captain America in the MCU, but before he ever played the Star-Spangled Man with a Plan, he suited up as another superhero.
No, we’re not talking about his tenure as The Human Torch in Fox’s Fantastic Four movies either. Between the release of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Captain America: The First Avenger came Push, the 2009 superhero film following two young heroes who must find a girl in Hong Kong before a shady organization hunting her does. Despite a 23% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, Push has earned a spot in the free streamer Tubi’s top 10, sitting at #6 at the time of writing. The film even earned a poor 42% from general audiences on the Popcornmeter.
