‘BoMac’ McIntyre avoids jail time Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre, the trainer of boxers Chris Eubank Jr and Terence Crawford, has been handed a 20-month suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to gun charges at Manchester Crown Court on Monday. The American was arrested by armed police in on 3 September at Manchester Airport, the day after masterminding Eubank Jr’s superb victory over Liam Smith the previous night.
In addition to Eubank Jr, ‘BoMac’ is the long-time trainer and friend of Crawford, who dominated rival Errol Spence Jr to unify the welterweight division and cement his status as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport.
