Chris Colfer threw shade at his former “Glee” co-star Lea Michele when asked whether he would like to see her in “Funny Girl” on Broadway.on Sirius XM’s “The Michelle Collins Show”Collins, 41, then asked if he was going to take an opportunity to see it while he was “in town” in New York City, and Colfer responded, “No, I could be triggered at home.”
We’re told the reason the author was on the East Coast in the first place was to promote the tenth anniversary of his book series, “The Land of Stories.” A rep for Michele, 36, did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on her former co-star’s remarks.CAROLINE BREHMAN/EPA-EFE/Shutter Colfer – who played Kurt Hummel on “Glee” – appears to have had a change of heart from eight years ago, when he avoided contributing to rumors about turmoil between his co-stars.
“I’ve seen some of my closest friends on ‘Glee’ go through where these horrible things are written about them and none of it is true, but some reporter wants to get a hit, they say so-and-so is a raging bitch,” the “Struck by Lightning” star told People,“I just mind my own business, really. I don’t want to say life is too short for drama, but I think I’m just too old for drama.”Michele and Colfer starred on"Glee" together for six seasons.
