Former Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said he"lives in" Donald Trump's head and claimed that is the reason the former president attacked him following last night's Republican presidential debate, which Trump declined to attend.
Trump had three posts about Christie during and after the debate, including a post of an image of Christie with then-President Barack Obama in 2012 after Superstorm Sandy devastated New Jersey and an altered video of Christie at a campaign event made to look like he is at a buffet. The former president issued one statement on Truth Social about Christie, bashing the former governor's record.
While Christie responded to Trump's posts about him, he also remarked how he was"encouraged" that other candidates went after Trump during the debate.
