The Commission on Human Rights over the weekend welcomed the appointment of Atty. Faydah Dumarpa as the third commissioner of the sixth Commission en banc.
In a statement released Sunday, the CHR said Dumarpa’s appointment paper was signed by President Ferdinand “Bonbong” Marcos Jr. on December 28, 2022, and was formally transmitted to the CHR on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Before her appointment, Dumarpa served as Deputy Executive Director III for Administrative and Financial Service in the Department of Health's National Nutrition Council since 2021. “CHR looks forward to her future contributions in the policy, protection, promotion, and prevention work of the Commission,” the CHR said.
