CHP officer shot along Interstate 8; suspect arrested [Breaking]
A California Highway Patrol officer was taken to a hospital after being shot on Interstate 8 at Interstate 805 in Mission Valley early Wednesday evening, according to San Diego police.
A suspect was arrested at the scene, said Officer Darius Jamsetjee. The injured officer’s condition was not immediately available. I-8 was closed in both directions in the area beneath the I-8 to I-805 interchange until about 7:30 p.m. Also, Interstate 15 at I-8 was shut down briefly for the investigation.City News Service contributed to this report.
