CHP investigating fatal crash on Interstate 80 that left vehicle on its roof

The wreck happened about 4:05 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80 just east of the Willow Avenue exit. Initial reports confirmed by the CHP indicated a second vehicle may have collided with the Chrysler 300 that was on its roof.The crash closed all lanes of the freeway for about 25 minutes and brought a Sig Alert for severe traffic. All the lanes were open by 5:30 a.m., and the Sig Alert cancelled.
