“I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman,” Moretz said on Instagram.
Chloë Grace Moretz officially came out as a gay woman on Saturday while showing her support for Kamala Harris .as she shared her public endorsement for the vice president and revealed she voted early for the 2024 US presidential election.
“I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor. Kamala Harris will protect that for us,” she continued. The actress further opened up about her experience growing up with her brothers, telling Gay Times later that year that she “grew up fighting on their behalf” because it “broke my heart to see that yes, they can stand up for themselves, but people wouldn’t listen.”
