From burritos to baristas, Starbucks has tapped the Chipotle CEO to take over the top role of the coffee chain.
Think you know a lot about Chipotle? Here's your chance to snag buy-one-get-one offers and a chance at free burritos for a year.
Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back its annual trivia contest, Chipotle IQ. The game quizzes customers on all things Chipotle — including information about brand history, ingredients, culinary techniques and more. "This marks the fifth year that we're testing our fans' knowledge with Chipotle IQ," Chief Brand Officer Chris Brandt said in a press release."With four million game plays since we introduced the concept, we believe there's an appetite for competition and free burritos. For anyone looking to get ahead, one hint is that we use 48 avocados in every batch of our hand-mashed guac.
From Aug. 20 to Aug. 22, the first 5,000 rewards members each hour who get a perfect score on the Chipotle IQ quiz will receive a BOGO code for a regular menu entrée. Those who then answer a bonus question correctly will be entered to win free burritos for a year. Fifty of those prizes will be handed out.
