Chino Trinidad's family is opening his wake to the public starting on Monday evening.Those who wish to pay respects to the late sports journalists may visit the Sanctuarium along Gregorio Araneta Avenue in Quezon City.They can drop by from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. on July 15 and from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. on July 16 to 19.Trinidad's remains will be cremated on July 20.The veteran sports journalist passed away due to a heart attack on Saturday. He was 56 years old.
Basketball leagues PBA and MPBL also honored him with farewell messages.Trinidad previously worked with GMA Sports as a commentator and sports analyst. He was also host of the Time Out segment on "24 Oras," and host of "Saksi sa Dobol B" on Super Radyo dzBB.He also served as former commissioner of the defunct Philippine Basketball League.In 2019, he received a special award for Meritorious Conduct at the Dangal ng Maharlika Awards.
