Former prime minister Paul Keating is “flat wrong” about China not being a threat, says former US Army vice chief of staff General Jack Keane.

“I was actually in the Biden White House on Tuesday and they were briefing me on the China strategy as well of their implementation of it,” General Keane told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“It was highly classified but I can just flat tell you that China is the most significant threat that the United States has faced since the Soviet Union. “And when you put it all together, I really think it will be the most significant that we have ever faced. “And we cannot do this by ourselves – we need Australia, Japan, the Philippines, we need our other allies in Europe to assist with the threat.”
