China’s PLA Navy has a total of 60 submarines in its fleet, which includes a mix of diesel-electric, and nuclear-powered vessels.

It should be noted that the sightings of Chinese nuclear submarines has been a matter of debate and it is unclear which variants have been sighted at what locations.
