China: PLAAF maneuvers over WPS were ‘professional, consistent with intl laws’

China said the recent actions of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force over the Scarborough Shoal in the highly-contested West Philippine Sea last August 8 was consistent with international laws, claiming that the Philippine Air Force intruded into its supposed territory.

”According to the Armed Forces of the Philippines , two PLAAF fighter type aircraft executed dangerous maneuvers and dropped flares in the path of an unarmed NC-212i PAF propeller aircraft conducting a routine maritime patrol over Scarborough Shoalat around 9 a.m.Beijing's latest act of aggression has provoked the Philippine government to file another diplomatic protest.
