BEIJING: China has received the World Bank's approval for a loan of 89.1 million euro (US$99.07mil) for a water supply and sanitation public private partnership project in the city of Deyang, Sichuan Province.
The National Development and Reform Commission confirmed the approval at its website on Sunday , hailing the move a positive outcome of China's international cooperation with financial organisations of the world in the PPP sector.The loan will be used to improve access to water supply and sanitation services and improve the quality and efficiency of water supply and sanitation service delivery in Deyang.
The five imported cases included three from Spain, one from Italy and one from Thailand, according to the commission.
