A son allegedly bludgeons his dad with a metal wrench after running him over repeatedly with an SUV, police and sources said.
In the stomach-churning footage, the suspect then takes a metal object from the back of the vehicle and bashes the older man in the head and body with it repeatedly as the victim lays bleeding on the sidewalk, police said.Police who were called to the scene found the father lying on the ground with trauma to his head and body. He was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital and remains in critical condition.
He was found to be in possession of a crack pipe and a plastic bag containing an unknown residue, cops said. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had used the drug, and the residue is being tested, police said.
