Three Chilean migrants were indicted for burglarizing NFL superstar Joe Burrow's Ohio home. Photos show the suspects posing with stolen luxury items including Burrow's diamond-studded chains and a stack of cash.
Three Chilean migrants have been indicted in connection with a substantial heist at Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow 's Ohio home in December. The indictment includes photos of the alleged thieves posing with Burrow's luxury belongings, including his diamond-studded 'JB9' and '#9' chains, watches, glasses, and a stack of cash. The men are also accused of deleting photographs of the stolen items and Burrow's home, attempting to obstruct the federal investigation.
Authorities believe the burglary occurred between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on December 9th while Burrow was away playing an NFL game in Dallas. The indictment alleges that the three men, identified as Jordan Francisco Quiroga Sanchez, 22, Bastian Alejandro Orellana Morales, 23, and Sergio Andres Ortega Cabello, 38, were part of a South American Theft Group. They were apprehended by Ohio State Patrol after authorities tracked them across multiple states following the burglary. During the traffic stop, police found tools for break-ins, a Cincinnati Bengals hat, and a Louisiana State University shirt, allegedly stolen from Burrow's home. The FBI has expressed concern about increasing theft groups in the Cincinnati area. U.S. Attorney Kenneth L. Parker stated, 'We owe it to the victims, whether they are or are not professional athletes, to follow the evidence into these alleged criminal networks and hold the law-breakers accountable.' The three men face charges for transporting stolen goods interstate and falsifying records in a federal investigation. Interstate transportation of stolen property carries a potential penalty of up to 10 years in prison, while falsification of records in a federal investigation carries a potential penalty of up to 20 years
