KOTA KINABALU: “Come buy this caterpillar (soft toy)”, “who wants to buy toys?” - these are the adorable voices heard from a shopping centre in Penampang near here, during a children’s mini fair on Saturday (May 6).
These children, aged between four and 12, were part of a small group selling used items and foodstuff with their parents while learning about trade and business.
“We want to promote interest in business, money management and entrepreneurship among the youth by holding such programmes,” she said. She said they have organised over dozens of related programmes over the past four years, with over a thousand participants recorded thus far.
