“We are busy, and swamped with kids, and that’s what we want,” she said. “We really enjoy the day. It’s a big day. It takes a lot of energy, but the energy and the feelings that we get back from the public are pretty phenomenal. We have visitors from two to 72 years old, and older. And for us, hearing the sound of the children playing and talking and laughing is music to our ears.”
