At least eight children have been injured in a knife attack in south-easternPolice rushed to the scene of the incident at a playground in the town of Annecy, in the French Alps.French interior minister Gérald Darmanin confirmed on Twitter that the attacker has been arrested.
‘Several people including children were injured by an individual armed with a knife in a square in Annecy,’ he said earlier this morning.Calling the attack ‘abominable’, MP for Haute-Savoie Antoine Armand said that it happened on a playground.
