After over five years of radio silence from Childish Gambino ’s touring team, the multi-talented singer-songwriter-rapper-actor-director is finally coming back to Texas — and he’s bringing along a dream team of performers. Gambino, also known as Donald Glover, announced plans for his global “The New World Tour” Monday after releasing his newest musical body of work, “ Atavista .” He’s not making the trek alone, though.
cities including Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Portland and Los Angeles before packing it up for a final U.S. show in Chicago on Oct. 3. After that, he’s got shows scheduled for Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and more. Fans in America can snag tickets in a presale on Wednesday May 15, per Gambino’s announcement on Instagram before general sales begin on Friday, May 17.
