Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid have now offered their opinions on Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker's controversial commencement speech.
The NFL world was lit ablaze on May 11 when Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker delivered a commencement speech that was deemed to be highly controversial. Butker addressed graduates of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, which was chock full of conservative viewpoints that lit the internet on fire.
Nate Taylor of The Athletic shared the response from Mahomes, who simply told reporters, 'I've known him for seven years. I judge him by the character he shows every day and that's a good person...We're not always going to agree. He said certain things I don't agree with.'Reid had a very similar response to the matter.'I didn't think I need to. We're a microcosm of life. ... We all respect each other's opinions. We all have a voice,' Reid told Taylor.
