Miss SA contestant Chidimma Adetshina has questioned her participation in the pageant after receiving xenophobic comments.
Miss South Africa finalist Chidimma Adetshina has spoken out about the ignorant, xenophobic comments she has received about her African roots.The LLB student regrets not mentioning her African heritage, which has been a big talking point on social media, in her Miss SA entry video.

I’m not the only one in this competition who has a surname that’s not South African. I just feel like the attention is on me because of my skin colour, which I think is a disadvantage. It’s also been something I had to overcome growing up.”Chidimma Adetshina has spoken about using her platform at Miss SA to help victims of gender-based violence.
