Chicago police say that two people, including a 17-year-old boy, are dead and at least 10 others have been hurt in shootings across the city so far this weekend.
An investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.At approximately 6:50 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Adams, a 16-year-old girl was inside a residence when she was shot in the head. Police say she was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
A 30-year-old man was standing on a sidewalk in the 1200 block of South Racine at approximately 11:40 p.m. when he was shot in the left leg, police said. The man was taken to an area hospital in good condition.Police say a 22-year-old woman was involved in a car crash in the 4400 block of West Madison just after midnight when a person got out of the other vehicle and opened fire, striking her in the left leg. She was taken to a hospital in good condition.
