Chicago experienced warmer-than-normal temperatures yesterday, with a 2-degree surplus. However, the forecast predicts a drop in temperatures for tomorrow and Saturday, ranging 5 to 10 degrees below normal. Today will see mostly cloudy skies with seasonal temperatures and a chance of light snow in the afternoon and evening, especially south of I-80. The Chicago area is expected to receive less snow from the upcoming storm system, which will primarily impact central Illinois and Indiana.
