At least nine people were wounded - including two teenagers - in weekend shootings across Chicago.

The victim told police he heard multiple shots fired, but was unable to provide further details. A witness provided a description of a possible suspect. Police found a male matching the suspect description and took him into custody and a handgun was recovered at the scene.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said. No one was in custody., according to officials. About 3:55 p.m., the man was driving in a black Dodge van on the interstate when he was struck in the back by gunfire near Halsted Street, Illinois State Police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in serious-to-critical condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
