Zack Park, 34, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder stemming from the Saturday afternoon killing of John Park inside their family’s North Park neighborhood home.
A file photo shows a crime scene blocked off by the Chicago Police Department.
According to Assistant State’s Attorney Anne McCord Rodgers, the shooting occurred at around 1 p.m. Saturday inside the Park’s home in the 5600 block of North St. Louis Avenue. The third brother, who is visually impaired, called out to John Park, but did not get a response, Rodgers said. He then called a fourth brother, who came to the home and tried to resuscitate John Park and called 911.
