State police said Tuesday that William Wesley, 22, of Chicago Heights, is charged with attempted murder following what they are calling a road rage shooting that occurred early Sunday on Interstate 90 in Chicago.
He was ordered held without bond following an initial court appearance Monday, police said in a news release.Police said they responded just before 2 a.m. Sunday to an expressway shooting in the northbound lanes of I-90 at Division Street in Chicago and learned the victim’s vehicle was shot at by the passenger of a white Ford sedan.The sedan alleged to have been involved in the shooting was stopped by state police in Chicago on Martin Luther King Jr.
