Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph were expected with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph. But strong to severe thunderstorms may bring gusts up to 60 mph.Earlier Wednesday a severe thunderstorm warning was in effect until 7:30 a.m. after a storm was located over Buffalo Grove moving east at 60 mph.Portions of north central and northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana were under a significant thunderstorm risk Wednesday morning through the afternoon.
