The Sixers' senior vice president of player personnel becomes the latest addition to the Bulls' front office overhaul.

His appointment completes a drastic reshaping of the Bulls' front office. Over the last couple of months, Bulls president Michael Reinsdorf has overseen the departures of longtime executives Gar Forman and John Paxson, who will continue to collaborate with the franchise in a consulting role, and the hiring of Karnisovas from the Denver Nuggets.

A former international scout for the Houston Rockets between 2008 and 2013, Karnisovas became the Nuggets' assistant general manager in 2013, before being promoted to general manager four years later. Denver finished with losing records during Karnisovas' first three years with the franchise, but steady improvements saw the Nuggets finish with the Western Conference's second-best record last season, as they reached the playoffs for the first time in six years.

"Arturas is one of the most respected basketball executives in the NBA. His resumé speaks for itself," Reinsdorf said in a statement confirming Karnisovas' appointment two weeks ago.
