Children don't have to pay a penny to enter either attraction
Tuesday, February 28 is the second teacher strike to take place this month as staff protest over pay and conditions.
At Knowsley Safari visitors can enjoy the UK’s longest safari drive that’s home to a wide variety of animals, as well as a series of fun and educational displays - including the sea lion and birds of prey shows. Knowsley's head of learning and discovery Nikki Burton Mallot said: “School may be out for the day, but that doesn’t mean that the children can’t continue to learn. We’re really looking forward to taking visitors on travels across the globe this Tuesday – with all of the exciting education this will bring.
