Clubs and the Premier League are calling for an end to the 'unacceptable' songs by some fans.
Why do fans do it?
"A lot of it is alcohol, when you're drunk and you're insensitive you don't really realise what you're doing," she tells BBC Newsbeat. She says some fans who sing the abusive songs will argue "the whole nature of sport is be competitive".As well as the Munich air disaster, another common subject of tragedy chanting is the Hillsborough disaster.
"Literally I've had that exact conversation with my son. That's really difficult to have to do that."
