Omari Kellyman has played just 37 minutes of Premier League football Chelsea are reportedly close to signing teenage forward Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa in a deal worth around £19million. Despite supposed issues with complying with Profit and Sustainability Rules, Chelsea are continuing to splash the cash on promising young players.
Capable of playing across the front-line but mainly as a centre-forward, Kellyman has made just six senior appearances for Villa since joining their academy in 2022 from Derby County. Kellyman has started just one senior game in his career They all came last season, but five of them were off the bench cameos totalling just 63 minutes of action in the Premier League, Europa Conference League and League Cup.
