He did not answer questions as to whether he had the numbers to form a new government or commented on Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's resignation. "I am not giving any statements tonight," he said after the closed-door meeting between Umno and PAS on Monday .Meanwhile, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong did not reveal any details of the meeting but said the front is ready should a snap election be called."The situation is very fluid and the King has just appointed Dr Mahathir as interim Prime Minister, so we wait," he said.
