Typhoon Chedeng (international name Guchol) has started to weaken and is likely to be downgraded into a severe tropical storm within the next 36 hours, the PAGASA said. | ManilaBulletin

In its 11 p.m. bulletin on Saturday, June 10, PAGASA said that Chedeng is forecasted to weaken due to an increasingly unfavorable environment

Based on the latest forecast track, Chedeng will remain far from the country's landmass. It is forecast to accelerate north north-northeastward or northeastward and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility Sunday evening or on Monday early morning. The state weather also mentioned that hoisting of wind signals in anticipation of tropical cyclone severe winds is unlikely at this time. However, the enhancement of the southwest monsoon over the next three days may bring gusty conditions over the following areas

Monday: Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Nueva Vizcaya, Central Luzon, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Marinduque, northern mainland Palawan, Calamian Islands, Cuyo Islands, Kalayaan Islands, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas.
