Here’s what you need to know:During the Covid-19 pandemic, the three major credit bureaus — Experian, Equifax and TransUnion — will provide you with a free credit report every week. This is available through April 20, 2022. You can visit FreeAnnualCreditReport.com as well to access a free credit report from each credit bureau.
To correct an error on your credit report, you should file a complaint with each of the three major credit bureaus. It’s insufficient to complain to only one credit bureau because they each act independently. Make sure your complaint is in writing.
