Reality star Chase Chrisley opened up about the end of his engagement from Emmy Medders and his re-introduction to the dating scene.

After the end of his engagement to Emmy Medders earlier this year, Chase Chrisley is speaking out about the split, noting that he is “thankful” that their relationship is over. Chase also revealed that he’s now dating again! He’s moving on! Just a month after breaking off his engagement from Emmy Medders, Chase Chrisley has shared that he is “thankful” for the breakup and that he is already dating again.

The couple dated for three years and got engaged last year before calling it quits. Although you might expect the former Chrisley Knows Best star to be heartbroken over such a big change, he made it clear in a recent interview that he thinks the split was for the best. After rampant speculation about their relationship status earlier this year, Chase confirmed that he was no longer with Emmy in a brief statement in July. “Everybody has been asking a lot of questions regarding Emmy and myself,” wrote the 27-year-old on Instagram. “We both agreed to part ways and move on with our lives separately. Thank you for respecting our privacy.” Although he did not give an explanation at the time, there were reasons to believe that it was not an amicable separation. The reality TV personality’s latest update seems to confirm those suspicions. When they revealed it was over, both Chase and Emmy had removed all photos of each other from their social media pages. Even more strikingly, Savannah Chrisley no longer followed Emmy on Instagram at the time of the breakup announcement. Chase may have been throwing some shade at his ex shortly after the end of their engagement when he posted an Instagram story of himself in an apartment with a city skyline, adding the caption, “God is good.” When he spoke to Extra on August 23rd, the South Carolina native echoed the sentiment that he was grateful to God for his new relationship status. “Everything happens for a reason,” Chase said of the breakup. “God’s got a plan. And I think God heard conversations that I didn’t hear.”
