Bengals running back Chase Brown attempted to participate in pregame warm-ups but appeared frustrated after trying a few cutting drills, according to Bridget Condon of NFL Network. Brown tried to do some cutting drills, shook his head no and is now walking off the field, Condon tweeted. This isn't unexpected as the second-year running back sustained a high ankle sprain last week against the Broncos.
It's anticipated that Khalil Herbert will start at running back, with Trayveon Williams and Kendall Milton also active for Saturday night's game against the Steelers. Brown has been a standout player this season, but it seems unlikely he'll be healthy enough to play.
