TikTok star Charlie D’Amelio was injured during a performance of '& Juliet' on Broadway when a piece of the set fell on her head.

TikTok star Charlie D’Amelio, making her Broadway debut in “& Juliet,” sustained a head injury during a performance over the weekend when a piece of the set fell on her during a dance number. A theatergoer present at the show described the incident, saying, “The thing that covers the stage came down and hit her on the head, and poor girl was knocked out.” The show was temporarily paused for about five minutes while medical personnel attended to D’Amelio.

She then returned to the stage, danced, and completed the performance, displaying a mark on her head. A source close to the situation informed Page Six that the 20-year-old actress took all necessary precautions and was checked out by a medic. According to the source, she has since returned to work and is doing well. D’Amelio, who previously competed on “Dancing With the Stars,” has been starring as Charmian in the jukebox musical since October 2024. The show, which premiered in 2019, offers a pop-music-infused take on William Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet,” exploring the narrative if Juliet had survived. D’Amelio rose to fame on TikTok, where she is the second most-followed individual. She also featured in the Hulu reality show “The D’Amelio Show” alongside her family, including her equally prominent sister, Dixie D’Amelio.
